OFFICERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURITY EDUCATION IN THEIR COMMANDS, 
AND FOR MAKING DEDICATED TIME AVAILABLE FOR AWARENESS AND TRAINING. 
SUPERVISORS, IN COORDINATION WITH THE COMMAND SECURITY MANAGER, ARE 
RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING SECURITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR 
FUNCTIONS AND ENSURING PERSONNEL UNDER THEIR SUPERVISION UNDERSTAND 
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR PARTICULAR ASSIGNMENT. 
2. TO ASSIST COMMANDING OFFICERS, THE CHIEF OF NAVAL OPERATIONS, 
PERSONNEL SECURITY POLICY OFFICE (CNO N09N2) WILL INITIATE A 
NAVY-WIDE SECURITY CAMPAIGN. BEGINNING AUGUST 2007, AND ON A MONTHLY 
BASIS, CNO N09N2 WILL EMPHASIZE THE ADJUDICATIVE GUIDELINES UNDER 
THE CONTINUOUS EVALUATION PROGRAM THAT CAN AFFECT AN INDIVIDUAL S 
ELIGIBILITY FOR ACCESS TO CLASSIFIED INFORMATION AND/OR ASSIGNMENT 
TO SENSITIVE POSITIONS.  MONTHLY HIGHLIGHTS CAN BE FOUND AT OPNAV

BRIEFINGS. ALL ARE ESSENTIAL PARTS OF COMMAND SECURITY EDUCATION 
AND SUPERVISORS MUST ENSURE THAT TRAINING IS PROVIDED.
